Five Year Wait Is Over

Although the game ended in a draw at 29 - 29 the Royal Navy are this years Inter Service Rugby Champions.

Breakfast at Poppins Cafe in Woking before an earlier than usual train journey. The earlier start meant the trains were less crowded and we had a decent run right through to Twickenham. I arrived in the Albany car park at around 1115 and there were around a dozen people there, ninety minutes later there were around a thousand!!
Manolo, having flown in from Sapain, arrived around 12 and gradually all our group arrived.
Additional security measures meant we set of early for the ground, a 'few' beers during a thoroughly entertaining game of rugby in the sunshine made for a great day.
A visit to the family paving stone in the Twickenham Walkway brought the day to an end.
Manolo home to Barry & Janette's, Gary and the Farnborough family off on one train whilst Penny, James and I headed for Woking, a 'cheeky Nandos' and bed before midnight.
