May Day

Today the temperature rose sufficiently high for me to feel that I could brave going out into the garden at last, at least for more than 5 minutes.
Mr MC and I achieved quite a bit I getting the garden back in order after all the building work both inside and out: plants were planted, pots organised, beds weeded and shrubs pruned at last.

The warmer weather meant that the cats were happy to join us outside, especially Peggy Sue, who cannot resist inspecting thoroughly every single thing that we do.  Here' she's seen examining the pond probably because I bribed her with Dreamies  treats to check that we've cleaned it properly.
