Facebook

A bit of anti-facebook day as demonstrated by this awful shot.

Where you post something that makes your life seem more boring than it actually is rather than the opposite.

After breakfast and a bit of sanding and filling, we headed up into town for the first time in ages.  A middling lunch, then ages spent at the phone shop.  St James' centre is nearly all closed - a very weird experience to see dozens of shops all closing in the next week or so for the demolition to start.   This will have been our last visit to a place that has just been more or less the entrance to John Lewis, but often-visited all the same.

The man  at the phone shop, which didn't have many phones,  gave us an inflatable crocodile instead.

And so on to another phone shop on Princes Street, where some of played football across the road in the gardens with a ball that mysteriously appeared in our garden last night.

Then a shop for clothes, which had a good discount, which meant I got four times as many clothes as I anticipated for only twice as much money as I had hoped to spend.

After some good work was done, I sat in the bath and listened to the revving as the Gumball Rally arrived in town.   A bit of a change from the Beltane drumming last night.
