Aftermath

Great birthday party yesterday, with 18 fed on spit-roast pork. Carcass fairly well attacked, but plenty of meat left for further feasting. All highly successful, and very rewarding.

Opening shots of Laing spit-roasting a dog's leg in this evenings re-viewing of High-Rise had a certain resonance after yesterday's activities (though at least our party didn't degenerate to quite the same extent.) The Portishead 'S.O.S.' sequence in the film is a definite highlight.
