Newborn

White cow has calved a bull calf. That's the end of calving on our farm yippee!! She adores her baby and was chatting away to him as she cleaned him. Such a good mother. We also have had two more lambs today. Plus much excitement at the duck eggs hatching in the incubator, 2 so far! There was also stress as the power went out this morning and I was panicking about the incubator and keeping it warm etc for the eggs but thankfully 20 minutes later power was restored. Had to reconfigure the chicks brooder so that I could use the electric hen for the ducklings when I take them out the incubator too.

Its been a crazy busy day in which I was hoping to not do too much. Might try an have my Sunday tomorrow instead feeling tired tonight!! Ben has been collected so that's one less thing to deal with.
