Wimpole Folly

What a glorious day for our sponsored walk; it was beautiful at Wimpole today.

Stella (see extra) wore her 'nervous' harness as I knew there would be a lot of other dogs and kids around, she enjoyed some fuss but was appreciative that people asked first. 

The Hearing Dogs lady was right, we did see some gorgeous views, and, I got my dogs fix, trees fix, ruins fix, and swan fix, all in one place...fabulous! :) I'm at 66% towards my fundraising target thanks to a few more donations today. Hopefully, I can get a little more for this great cause now we've done the walk and a big thank you to those of you that have given already :) 

Then met my parents and Dad not only treated me to a late lunch but, also said if I wanted to buy the slate I need for the gardener he'd bring it back to mine. This will save me 3 more trips to the garden centre this week as my car just can't cope with the weight. 

Stella has done really well but I think was pleased we just did a short evening walk! 

Back out tomorrow morning for an Ely Friends Meetup at Milton Country Park, another lovely location. Plus, the rain has promised to stay away until the afternoon :)
