Living in Manchester

Have you got any cup cakes?

What a busy day it has been!!

This morning it was sunny!
OMG!
I lept out of my bed like popcorn from a pan.
Quick as a flash it was shower, shorts on, animals fed, boys left in bed and on my bicycle to go and have breakfast with the lovely Jeff.
He finished work at 7am. Shift nine of eighteen.

On the way back I chanced upon the 5th Annual Lucy Winskill House Garden Party.
It was in someones garden and they were selling cakes. So I stopped and bought a few. It would have been rude not to.

When I got home #3boy was up and cooking his breakfast.
He said to me "Do you know, this is the first breakfast I have constructed"
"Do you mean 'cooked' Dear"
"Yeah that's what I meant - constructed"

When he had eaten his home constructed bacon and egg rolls he tucked into the cupcakes. I made a cuppa and had one myself - it would have been rude not to.

Then it was back on the bike and off to the market where I purchased a summer frock and a very large hanging basket. Had to walk back with the hanging basket adorning my handlebars. (It drew a few funny looks)

Back home I put the hanging basket up and with my broken letterbox in my back pack, cycled to the DIY superstore to get a new one.
Then cycled home, cooked tea, fitted new letterbox and had a chat on the phone with my brother who is off to Mozambique on Tuesday with work. (Just for a week though.)

All in all a well productive day.

#2boy was geting ready to go to work when he told me that he was going to get another piercing next week. Where? ON HIS FACE!
If you don't know what microdermal piercing is count yourself fortunate.
I suggested he just paint a silver metalic beauty spot on his cheek.
"No Mum - that would just look ridiculous" !!!!!????????!!!!!

It is true
Insanity IS hereditary.
YOU GET IT FROM YOUR KIDS
