Dubrovnik

After an early start from Gatwick we arrived in Dubrovnik mid morning. The sun shone beautifully all day and the temperature was about 21* - perfect! After we had checked into our apartment we went to find a small grocers to buy some lunch and essentials (beer!), we walked to the old city - about 6 minutes walk from the apartment, down 151 stairs!
We then walked around the city walls. The views were breathtaking and the colours in the sunshine beautiful. This walk took quite a while as we were in no hurry.
Then had a wander around the city, and ate dinner in a small street cafe in one of the squares.
The forecast for the rest of the week does not look wonderful so we made the most of the sunshine today.
