Open Studios

Today was an Open Studio's Event for our local area. Local artists open up their studio or house for us uneducated to tramp through. The downside was the rain - so less walking, more car. This was from the first house we visited, and is by Lynnette Willoughby, who does installations. This is actually part of a piece - it goes with a piano full of objects. Each miniature book (handmade), explains one object in the piano. But I really loved the idea of the miniature books - and as a picture - I liked the patterns, and the myriad of different but linked patterns which the top of the table of books created.
