"Posh" Cream Tea

This afternoon seven of us girlies went out for Cream Tea at the Langham to celebrate Mum & Mrs Q's 70th birthdays.

It was scrumptious!

We started with an apricot 'amuse bouche' (!) as described by the menu, 'indulgent finger sandwiches' followed, warm plain & fruit scones next and rounded off with 'exquisite pastries inspired by Wedgwood collections'.

The pastries were the centrepiece of the table - just a shame we were all too full up to eat them. No problem! Takeaway boxes were provided!!
