Gently Does It

This afternoon a bellbird (N.Z. native nectar feeder which also enjoys apples and pears) flew into the kitchen and panicked when it realised its mistake. It almost knocked itself out crashing into the window and 7 year old great niece Jasmine carried it very carefully out to the orchard. She was delighted to see it fly away apparently unharmed and even more delighted when she thought she heard it singing "thank you".
