Butterfly day

Mariposa California in the foothills of the Sierras. Today was the annual Butterfly day. The parade of bands, horses, a stagecoach, lots of vintage cars, floats taking part in a competition and groups of bikers. Some, as here had entered into the spirit. Most were of a certain vintage with beard, pony tails and raucous machines. They even drowned the worthy efforts of the announcer. A really good illustration of small town U.S.A.
