Lovely, lovely, lovely day.
We went for a walk at Tarr Steps and a picnic by the river. Dylan the dog absolutely LOVED it. Around every corner you could almost hear him shout, 'There's more water! I'm going in again! Weeeeee!!!' ***SPLASH***
Tess sat on a rock for a few minutes, looking very small against the enormous trees and wide fast-flowing river, staring into the water, and said, 'I like it here. It makes me happy.'
:o)
Teens 1 and 2 were otherwise occupied. Joel's got himself a holiday job pot-washing and Gemma was with her boyfriend but I think we achieved mostly good parenting today.
I had an overwhelming urge to drag Richard and Tess to the garden centre for tea and cake (lots of fresh air means you can eat cake) and then we checked out the special offers on the plants and came home with some tall, floppy things.
I finally finished planted them out by 8pm tonight (thanks for the digging, Richard!) and we've just scoffed some tuna steaks in record time.
If I don't sleep well tonight... then.... Well I dunno...
I chose this photo because it's easy and I'm tired. But I took 150 and I think I may have to do something with the rest of them
