Arvin and Ian at Tennant Lake

Ian, Arvin and I had a lovely walk at Tennant Lake in Ferndale. I like this place very much. It has a wonderful wooden boardwalk all along through the wetlands. They just refurbished the walkway so it is now safe and fun to walk on. Thought I'd post this photo today so you could see what our good friend Ian looks like.

After we walked we stopped at the Checkered Tablecloth for goodies and coffee. The young gal there was a kick to talk to. She is a baker and knows everything about running the place. We really enjoyed our goodies and our visit.

Now Steve is here with Dave and Nora whom he just picked up at the airport on their return from Las Vegas visiting their older son and his family. We are all going to the new Eat Restaurant in Bellingham that happens to be right across from Helena's apartment. She is going to be meeting us there. We will be eight at Eat. Ha ha.
