Better than the forecast said....

The forecast was rain, but we cycled most of the day in sunshine; warm in the sun, cold in the shade and icy wind. We rode over Kirkstone and on to Matterdale and Threlkeld. The photo shows the empty road with views of Blencathra. Then we came back over Dunmail, probably for the last time before it's open again for traffic.
