When doves cry

Never in the whole time I've lived in Aberdeen have I seen a bird like this. In Scotland at all to be honest.

It was so strange to spot this little one today. In the city centre as well.

I happened to be listening to Prince (not because he's recently left us, but because Prince was a daily listen for me). Not when doves cry though but you can see why seeing this made my head flip a little.

I saw the bird walking around and as I took this photo it flew towards me. This capture was purely accidental. I tried to capture it as the bird was walking around but before I knew it the bird had taken flight and straight at me too.

It was a good day all in all.
