Beltain

Great time at the Festival of Beltain at Butser Ancient Farm. I've been a number of times now and it's a great evening out with lots going on culminating in the burning of the massive wickerman (apparently without human sacrifice). Despite this marking the beginning of summer it was very chilly out and I did seek refuge around the fire in the big roundhouse for a while to warm my hands up, having forgotten to take any gloves. Lots of fun though and I am now a huge fan of the Pentacle Drummers. If they weren't so far away (in Eastbourne) I'd be asking to join up!
