Tapisserie de Bayeux

After a great and much needed sleep for everyone, we visited the Bayeaux Tapestry today which was great. I found it fascinating and managed to listen to most of the story on the hand held audio thing, before D decided that he'd had enough and would rather play on the steps outside. O listened to the children's version which kept her engaged for a short while before her attention turned to the carousel that she had spotted on the way in!

The above blip is a photo of a photo of the tapestry (in the museum bit) - so don't worry as I didn't break the rules by taking one of the real thing..although I was very tempted as I wouldn't have used my flash!
