Satellite Navigation
I spent today in the country and I had a perfectly lovely time. Great company, great food and great weather. Nuff said.
However, two things became perfectly obvious after today's little jaunt. One, I can't photograph landscapes for toffee and, two, I have no sense of direction. I adore the countryside and, if I'm perfectly honest, it's where I'm happiest so why can't I photograph it? So infuriating! As for having no sense of direction, my inner satellite navigation system just keeps wanting to go right for some reason - it's like a magnetic pull. Of course, this is all very well but sometimes you have to go left and that can cause all sorts of problems. To cut a long story short, a journey which should have taken me an hour to get back home took two. On the plus side though, I didn't realise my little Renault Clio could do 80 miles per hour and I didn't realise I could drive so fast! You live and learn huh?
Here's today's offering. I think I'll stick to walking in future!
Note - The shoes do not belong to me. I don't know who they belonged to. I did consider hiding them but thought that would be a tad cruel.
