Snow on the fell tops

Its been a lovely sunny afternoon so took Misty to Crummock Water late  afternoon for a wander by the lake.  Some of the fells had snow on the tops which looked great in the sunshine.  It was a good time to go as there was hardly anybody about.  After the wander by the lake we walked up the Howe which gives great views of the lake which I've blipped many times before.  

Had an hour's walk in Rickerby Park this morning in Carlisle and got the timing right as there were dogs galore for Misty to play with and of course the usual dip in the river.

Signs have appeared at each end of the road through the village saying Road Closed which is causing confusion to many.  Next to these signs is another sign advising the road will be closed on 8th May for 2 days which is fine but wonder why they felt the need for the extra ones up as its about a 5 mile detour.  No wonder people ignore road closed signs :)
