amazing nature...

Amazing nature today. The weather - everything. Coot chicks are definitely strange looking chicks and how on earth to they turn into plainer looking coots? I hadn't quite realised just how many shades of xyz are on their face as chicks. The curly white hairs also make me think they are quite elderly.....amazing nature!

Extras - orange tip butterfly (not bad with the big lens), little ringed plover and a lesser whitethroat....
