First Day Of The New Season

Don't panic - not a new football season (I know, the old one hasn't finished yet) but the opening day of our local outdoor pool.

Lots of familiar faces were enjoying their first swim of the "Summer" and we took Sophie for her second dip this week. Despite the sun, it was decidedly nippy when you got out.

On the subject of football, having scored less than one goal a game on average all season, Yeovil managed to score 4 in one half this afternoon, coming back from 2-0 and then 3-1 down away at Barnet to win 4-3. We've risen to the dizzy heights of 18th with one game to go; nose bleeds all round.

Off to our friends' place in Spain for a fortnight tomorrow. Internet may be intermittent so, while I should be able to post, commenting may be limited.
