A Farewell to Friends

Had a lazy relaxed day which has been nice for me, but Martin is poorly :(. He's got a cold and had a fever as well for a bit. We did manage to make it into town for friends Brenda and Will's farewell drinks and dinner.

Managed to take a quick pic on the way to Soho on the mid level escalators. Even after 10 years living here, I am still fascinated by these typical Hong Kong street scenes. So colourful.

Dinner was in the very famous Yung Kee restaurant on Wellington Street and we were served century old eggs, see extra!! I am proud to say that I actually tried one ... It tasted like a normal hard boiled egg!

It's sad to see people leave, especially those you've known for so long, you've seen their family grow. The sad part of the expat life for sure.
