Elephant Garlic

We yanked out the Elephant garlic today, the seed pod/flower thingy on a long stem promised much (pictured, it was about four feet off the ground). Unfortunately my expectations of monster garlic were dashed as we revealed a only bit bigger than normal sized garlic head.
