'The 19th Hole Grand National'

We woke this morning to a cloudless blue sky ..... just as my BBC weather app predicted.

This weekend is the 5th Elie Scarecrow Festival so L and I were out on our bikes early searching for as many of the 45 scarecrows as we could find.  The published map is a great help.  One of the first ones we saw was outside the 19th Hole, a local pub overlooking the golf course.  The horse and rider have to be one of my favourites.  

The extra is the entry from the local baker 'The Great British Scare Off' .... not so easy to photograph because the display was in the shop window.
