Dancing the night away
“We come spinning out of nothingness, scattering stars like dust.”
― Rumi
Tonight was "Dance Evening" in our theatre. I was Front of House Manager and so didn't get to see very much, about which I am truly sorry. Dancers included a group from Istanbul State Conservatory Ballet Faculty, Adapazarı Enka Schools Folk Dance Group and our own Modern Dance club. Pictured is the only dance I did get to see in the second half. Our dance teacher's choreography inspired by Sufi Whirling, the music was composed by our (Turkish) music teacher. The rest of my evening was spent managing late comers and other foyer dramas, while listening through closed doors to some lovely music and enthusiastic applause.
