A royal day

Today both Mark and Jonathan met Prince Charles. He is on the island and all the year 6 children from all the schools had an activity morning at the park where Prince Charles and Camila went to visit. The Prince went over to Jonathan's activity. Jonathan said goodmorning to him and Prince Charles replied with "Good morning young man". J was chuffed to bits that the prince called him a young man!

Later in the afternoon Mark was officially presented and had a brief conversation. Very exciting. I had to decline the invite as I was working but I was only accompanying Mark not being presented so would have had to have waited away from anything exciting so I wasn't to bothered.

I had a tiring day at work but collegues were great at making sure I had a break. It was then the normal piano and flute before J went to a party and S went to choir practice.

This is a picture of one of the windows at St Saviour's. Mark had an email requesting it and as he didn't take his camera to meet royalty its the best I can do.
