Rodents rule

Green fingers

I spent the day with other West Norwood Feast volunteers weeding, cleaning and planting the area around the closed library and Nettlefold Hall. We did the lion's share of the cleaning last Saturday so it was lovely to be able to plant flowers in the prepared beds. A huge "Thank you" to Floral Hall, the local florist, for donating the plants. A few passersby stopped to admire the flowers and praise our good work. The spot has been unloved for such a long time and it could be such a useful and bright community space. It just needs a little sparkle (and for the library to move back in and for Nettlefold Hall to reopen - all paws crossed!)
