2016 Thursday -- Fun Afternoon

Once my afternoon meeting commitment to the PG & SL District Committee that I serve on was finished, Mr. Fun & I set out to have an enjoyable few hours.

We had a late, late lunch at a nice Italian place, Johnny Carino's, and then drove a few short blocks to our favorite little winery. It is a very old place with a small tasting room that has a window that allows customers to see into the vineyard. Very few people were there today, and that made the moment even more lovely.

This has been an extremely busy portion of the semester with lots of essays to grade and reports to write for several evaluation teams that I am part of. So, I think it is fair to say that I am a little overwhelmed.
