Vulcan and bombs

Spent the day at Hendon RAF Museum with a friend. Never been there before and was taken aback by the number of aircraft that have been manufactured over the years. The thought that every one was meant as a killing machine and the cost per kill, is/was it worth it, just a provoking thought. The image is the under carriage of a Vulcan and its bombs
