Friday: New Places

I had a 'just because' day off today.  Originally we had thought we might go somewhere but the weather has been pants so we have pottered around locally.

I picked up my new glasses this morning.  Oh my word, I had no idea that writing could have such sharp edges.....it's quite the revelation.

Zagreb seems to be constantly expanding in terms of places to go.  Tonight we stumbled across 'Cafe Cek', a very pub like place that we hadn't been to before.  While we were there, a stream of about 20 lairy men, in an array of all-in-one lycra costumes, stumbled past us on a pub crawl.  It's the first time we have seen something like that here.  Unsurprisingly, they turned out to be from England.  It's seems like the stag do crawl has finally hit Zagreb.  Truth be told, we were a bit embarrassed as lycra clad outings are not really the done thing here .
