Today’s the big day!

We finally got to meet Berelaxed & Raspberry after nearly six years of blip friendship!

After leaving our condo by 10 am we reached B’s house a little after 11:30 am … just in time!  It was wonderful meeting her for the first time! And without blipfoto that wouldn’t have been possible.  How boring would our lives be without blipfoto, right!?!

We sat and had a wonderful talk for several hours as if we had been friends longer than six years.  It’s just amazing how comfortable we all were with each other.   B fed us a delicious lunch and introduced us to a new cheese … Halloumi!  I have since gone out and bought some! Yum!

The time got away from us and I’m afraid we may have out stayed our welcome!  It was nearly 4:30 pm when we left.  But we had such a wonderful time!  Thank you, B and Raspberry, for everything! Next time we will have to meet T! 

On the way back to our condo we stopped for supper and then in Barnstable to see another lighthouse.  Unfortunately, in order to see it up close a five mile walk along the beach was required.  We did not do that! Instead we drove to another Audubon wildlife sanctuary and saw the lighthouse from across the bay.  Still not close enough for a decent picture.  But the sunset was amazing!
