On the Buses...

Oh, what a lovely day I have had...

Denise was over from Lincoln so we met up for a cuppa and non-stop chat for a couple of hours.

I then picked up Carole and we went into town. We had a mini adventure as we decided to use the new guided bus route. Now, people who know me know I have a bit of a phobia about buses (when I was little my mum got off a bus ahead of me with my little sister and the driver didn't see me and closed the doors and drove off...not far, but enough to scar me for life). The buses are all brand new with super comfy seats, tables and free wifi. We whizzed by the traffic and...I never thought I would say this...it was great.

Carole had an appointment so I had an hour to myself. I nipped into the John Ryland's to have a look at the Magic Witches and Devils exhibition. I love, love, love witches, I always have. Apparently I used to tell tales of witches and wolves...I love them too...to other children when I was little and scare them (then I'd wake up scared in the night). I then had a mooch around Manchester Cathedral and a wander through St Ann's Arcade, where I snapped a sneaky pic of the posh barbers, before meeting up with Carole again.

We were starving by then so we went off for a meal. We were on the bus so a glass of something pink and bubbly went down well too.

Now I am slumped on the sofa and I'm not moving all evening :))
