EEKISSIMO!!

I didn't need this much stress first thing this morning!!

I went to a meeting in York, and at the first major junction on my walk from the station towards the city centre this drama was happening. One family of goslings had just crossed in front of buses, cars etc to the opposite side and the family just departing from the pavement in front of me were heading off diagonally across the major crossroads towards the Memorial Gardens watched by lots of people with horrified expressions. Fortunately the traffic mostly all stopped for them. The goose nearest to me here seemed to be a kind of warden and once he/she had seen them safely across it then turned round and came back, causing more traffic mayhem.

And it was a good meeting, and a bit of a treat day out for me, as I'd signed up for it before I knew I'd be up to it.
