Borders blue sky and snow

A few weeks ago we decided that it would be fun to cycle from Edinburgh to Hexham this weekend. We thought that by the end of April we wouldn't be taking too many risks with the weather...

As things have turned out the snow has been the best feature of the journey - helped along by the blue sky and sunshine. This will be a ride that we'll be talking about for a long time.

Exercise today: 21 miles of tandem riding.
