Smoke among the trees
A very different afternoon from yesterday, though blipped in much the same area. This fire was burning yesterday as well - I suspect they are green branches smouldering away as they are cut down and added to the pyre by the gardeners in Benmore. As we were leaving, I noticed how the smoke was defining the different trees at the edge of the field; I would have cropped out the telegraph poles and wires if I'd been using a better lens with greater definition.
But actually, this is what it is, and there are two wee lambs lying down at the foot of the poles, obviously feeling secure there. Chilly but peaceful, with the hope that Spring might return soon.
