Yes, another bridge

This time it's the Avon aqueduct. This carries the Union canal over the river Avon. Built in 1821 by Hugh Baird with advice from the famous Thomas Telford who thought the stone arches were overkill and the iron trough ought to do the job OK.
Again on the tourism bit, you can take canal boat trips to it from Linlithgow for a pleasant couple of hours. They also do a monthly 6 hour one to the Falkirk wheel!
Some extras with a top view and a view of another bridge over the canal. All with antique effect just for the fun of it.
