..and then there were four

four "Titan" cranes from the peak shipbuilding years on the Clyde remain. They are 150 feet high and were used to heavy lift locomotives at Finnieston,  marine engines and boilers when fitting out ocean liners and battleships at  Whiteinch,  Clydebank,  and  here at Greenock's James Watt Dock....this one is not open to the public but Titan Clydebank is, fancy a bungee jump or just a good view?

xtra - two familiar funnels peeping above the drydock walls tell us that the paddle steamer Waverley is there for two weeks in preparation for her seasonal cruising starting in late May...hopefully
