Delicious....

..... that's the word that came to mind when I saw this richly coloured tulip, we have a lot of them and they've practically appeared overnight  -  this beautiful wine colour, some cream, and a smattering of  red and yellow.  A few days ago I had almost begun to hope that spring wasn't too far off but we had quite a bit of snow this morning  -  huge fluffy flakes which continued till late morning but I'm pleased to say that all trace of it is now gone.
