Mates!

My blip today is of a Frangipani, which considering I live on a quite warm and temperate part of the east coast of Australia shouldn't be a challenge to grow. Over the last ten years I have demonstrated a spectacular lack of success on five occasions resulting in the plants death, RIP Fran. The last people to tell of your achievements or lack of are your mates, who will bombard you with stories of just how easy such a plant is to grow. They will tell you of a friend who dropped a short piece of limb on the ground. Lol, within a week it had formed roots a week later, the discarded piece of limb was standing upright and the story goes that two weeks later the stump had leaves and flowers . In the same time frame, my plantings just die. The significance of the picture is that it is four weeks, four weeks since I planted the Frangipani. Hopefully in another four months I may be able to follow up with a blip of Spring flowers or an increase in the height of our compost. Hope you all have a really great day.
