Market day

I don't really like taking photos in the middle of a busy market - too touristy, too invasive. However, I had bought some saucissettes (fiddly but delicious) and felt that my brown bag made me look more authentic, and these big cauldron, (lamb stew and paella) cried out to be admired - and savoured! They smelled wonderful.

We ended our trip to market with a jolly lunch in Créperie Les Embruns (I recommend it) just along from the Hotel de Ville - toute la famille along with friends from Mayenne and St Brieuc, so that the entire créperie was filled with bilingual conversation and hilarity. Just the way to cope with a dreich day and nullify the effect of the rain that ensued.
