Interesting Bark

Does this count for Abstract Thursday?  The whole tree was so beautifully textured - a large white birch.  I just realized the theme is black and white with a dash or two.  

A friend and I took a very long walk in the woods, walking the perimeter of a 92 acre property that was donated for conservation purposes. She agrees to walk it once a year to check on its use and make sure nothing bad is happening.  Then another walk along our usual trail for Myles.  The 92 acre property is home to horses, goats, chickens, well a small portion of it is anyway so couldn't bring Myles along.  He was heartbroken so had to do the trail to please him on this beautiful spring day.  

Always love to find ta little "love"  in a tree trunk (see extra).
