Horns and all that jazz

The festival season in Edinburgh kicks off today with the start of the Jazz and Blues Festival and the traditional first weekend Mardi Gras. There are a variety of bands playing along the three stages including this traditional New Orleans style band.

The sousaphone is ideal for getting great images like this that reflect the audience and the other members of the band. Even better is the fact that a sousaphone is in fact cylindrical and so nicely fits into the Weekend Blip Challenge theme of CYLINDER. This is going to be my entry for the week.
