Appointment

Went for an opthalmology appointment at Lewisham Hospital this morning.  All is well.  I had to have those eye drops that dilate your pupils, and when I came out, it was like someone had turned up the brightness and saturation on everything.  The sunshine and my polarising sunglasses added to the effect and I felt like I'd taken some sort of psychedelic drug - I walked the streets of Lewisham in wonderment.  Life in glorious technicolour!

Got to the office and had a very quick lunch - so hungry after all the waiting around at the hospital - then got on with a surprisingly productive afternoon of work.  Then home to a tasty tea with Tim, and a good stocking-up of the fridge with a food delivery.
