Sheffield

2.5 hours to drive 120 miles from North Wales to Sheffield.

That was my iPhone's plan. It took longer. Rain all the way.

Then I couldn't find the way to my hotel. I knew where it is. I knew where I was. But Sheffield city centre is all one way systems. For once I wished I had satnav. Then I'd have ended up in the canal.

All in all, not much of a day. It finished well, though. The rain went off about 6:30 so I decided to get out for fresh air, a walk and some food. I ended up in a Café Rouge. Good food and service. It won't break the budget either.

It's across the square from the Peace Garden. That got Blipped.

Bit strange being here in a week when the city has been all over the headlines for the wrong reasons. Hillsborough is the destination for one of the city bus services, so it's there in your face.
