More contrasts

This week's weird weather of mixed and often simultaneous snow, hail, sun, (easterly) wind and cold has had - as its leitmotiv - the shiny buidling against the dark sky. Here again this evening, when I got home after a busy day comprising an early phone conference with European partners, the writing and correction of some short texts, a quick coffee with RZ, who has now submitted her book ms and is a happy bunny, an excellent seminar at lunchtime where we had an interesting visitor, and then finally a university meeting.

Lots of email shovelling in and amongst - and one email let me know that I'm free until 12 noon tomorrow. Presumably so I can send more emails.
