Artichokes

I went up to the allotment to water in the second installment of nematodes and apply some more wood preservative to the shed. Gosh, it was chilly. But before I legged it home I had ascertained that some of the petit pois are up, the Jerusalem artichokes too, and spears are showing now from eleven out of the twelve asparagus crowns D planted.
