Whitehaven beach

Unfortunately the sea was very rough so I did feel seasick at parts, however it was a huge relief to jump into the fresh water and snorkel. We saw one of the largest fishes in the reef called a wrasse and a group of magnificent turtles. We stopped off at Whitehaven beach: one of the top 10 beaches in the world. This label was very easy to believe as the beach was unbelievably pristine and unspoilt- with impeccably white pure silica sand, which felt astonishingly soft and velvety between our toes. We had a great view at the top of Hill inlet, where we saw the tide seamlessly blend the sand and water, creating beautiful swirling patterns. In the evening we sat at the back of the boat and watched bottlenose Dolphins swim around us. Let's hope for a smooth night at sea!
