The Weather Man was wrong!

We were up and out on the promise of clear skies at 5am to drive 38km to the 12 Apostles.

Sunrise didn't quite happen as it was incredibly overcast. Not to be put off we found charm in the changing colours of the sky and to marvel at such a view.

On checking the weather it seemed likely that sunset may be a better option, so with this in mind, we drove back to our cabin as we had work to do and at 4pm jumped back in the car, even though the weather seemed a little 'off' but hoping that 38km down the road might be a different story weather wise.  Well we were wrong, it chucked it down with rain!!  Never mind, we spent a happy half hour marveling at the pinks in the sky and at the large keen photographers all lined up with their tripods snapping away and taking photos of the sea mist!!

All in all no major complaints.  Tomorrow we head back to the Yarra Ranges and for a weekend of fun with friends and to wish a certain blipper (In an Instant) a very happy birthday!
