Day 119 Bluebells in Crabtree Wood

This morning I was out early with Paddy and his car driver Kevin.  This photo shows the bluebells growing through the under storey of a deciduous wood. 

Further on there were the conventional carpets of bluebells under beech trees. The bluebells pop out because there is so little undergrowth beneath beech trees, but to me this to me is a quintessential English wood.
